These two specialized 3-hour training sessions are designed specifically for kinship families who have completed the Kinship NTDC Pre-Service Training and are transitioning from kinship care to traditional foster care. The sessions build on the knowledge and experience gained through previous kinship training and provide the additional information, skills, and expectations relevant to traditional foster parenting. These sessions allow NTDC Certified Kinship Families to complete the training needed for the transition without taking the full 21-hour Traditional Foster Parent Pre-Service Curriculum.
